South Mountain Creamery, Inc. Production Associate - Bottle Filler in Middletown, Maryland

South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family: we bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 23 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We see the “excellence in the ordinary” and everything we do is done with integrity and intention.

We are currently hiring a Bottle Filler Operator at our Middletown, MD. location.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Cleaning and sanitizing the bottle filler before the start of the run

Putting the filler together properly

Running all the products for the day

Filling and coding the proper # of quarts and 1/2 gallons (per run sheet)

Putting away the lids and storing supplies properly

Taking the filler apart properly

Rinsing and putting all parts in CIP tank

Washing the filler from top to bottom

Properly washing the product tanks, inside and outside

Hand-washing all product valves

Washing and properly hanging all bottle guides

Hand-washing the bottle track from top to bottom

Washing walls and floors thoroughly everyday

Foaming everything once a week

This position will be cross trained to perform other production functions and will act as an all-star team player while helping in other areas as needed.

This position is 5 days a week Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm
