Position Details

The Athletics Department is currently seeking part-time Temporary Lifeguards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the health and safety of the patrons in the Natatorium. This includes appropriate and efficient emergency response when needed, and ensuring compliance with the pool rules in an appropriate manner and explain the rationale for the rule(s) when needed.

  • Assist the patrons as needed, without compromising the safety of others using the Natatorium.

  • Adhere to the policies and procedures set forth in the Lifeguard Guidelines.

  • Other duties as needed.

This is an on-campus, non-benefit eligible, position working up to 20hrs per week.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid American Red Cross Lifeguard, PRCPR / AED , and First Aid Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a college setting.
