Description:

The Enterprise Capacity Materials Planning & Strategy (ECMPS) organization is looking for an analytical, results-driven individual to execute materials planning processes across multiple Value Streams with a focus on Commercial Spares business processes. The successful candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream. The Hot Section Materials Planning Specialist is a key role within the value stream and ECMPS that maintains systems to ensure schedule accuracy and enable schedule stability. Responsibilities include: - Execute Materials planning & scheduling processes as well as inventory control including: o schedule management o inventory management o Execution of inventory transfer requests o Execution and communication of changes requested within the schedule frozen zones o Inventory buffering (safety stock) o engineering change incorporation o Tier 1 & constrained material schedule reviews to mitigate any customer support risks - Integrate with the materials planners throughout the full value stream to ensure alignment on schedules - Execute timely and accurate implementation of material master changes. - Support inventory initiative teams focused on the improvement of inventory management processes. - Support annual MMAS audits; ensure monthly compliance requirements - Co-lead, or support various strategic initiatives associated with material planning processes & systems

Qualification:

Preferred

ACE Associate or higher

A minimum of 5 years of materials planning experience

Your are self-motivated and be able to work independently with the value stream teams.

You demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills;

You have SAP experience and APICS certification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business, supply chain or management preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • 5+ years of materials planning experience required

  • US Citizen required for government contracts
