AI Engineers, Inc. has an immediate job opening for a Project Engineer at its location at 919 Middle Street, Middletown, CT 06457.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Duties: Write comprehensive reports to define changes and generate required reports; Create and maintain layouts in scheduling software; Understand of project drawings and specifications to implement in project planning and scheduling; Attend and lead regular progress meetings to review the required information and schedule with the construction team; Coordinating the submittals and documents with the client; Design management of civil works design projects; Design of sites/roadway/highways, stormwater, and sanitary systems; Review of geotechnical reports; Preparation of Construction Documents including plans and specifications; Assist in developing and managing budgets, estimates and schedules; Assist with other projects/tasks to ensure the success of the project.

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; One (1) year experience in civil engineering or a related field.

Special Requirements: Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate of proof that candidate has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Civil Exam; Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation. Regular day travel to job sites throughout Connecticut.
