Manufacturing Project Engineer Job Duties:

  • Develop manufacturing processes and create Work Instruction Packages

  • Complete Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and all manufacturing readiness level (MRL) activities

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend/implement process improvements

  • Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA)

  • Perform process tryouts; evaluate process certification gaps and recommend actions plans to

achieve CPK values

  • Design tools or fixtures, create tool notifications, and perform tool application studies

  • Participate in lean manufacturing events to reduce costs and improve efficiency

  • Act as manufacturing liaison for engineering team

Core Qualifications:

  • AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience

  • One+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered

  • Ability to learn and understand/interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

  • Desire to develop skills in aerospace manufacturing and part processing

  • Strong self project management and communication skills are required

  • Skills with NX, Teamcenter and/or PPAP is highly desirable

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
