The caregiver is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene.

Home Health Aide Qualifications include:

  • 1 year of previous work experience

  • Comprehensive HHA training program available for those without experience

Home Health Aide Job Description:

  • Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating)

  • Range of motion / exercises

  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

  • Assisting with ambulation and transfers

  • Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary)

  • Medication assistance
