Job Information

Middlebury College Golf Course Outside Services (S02099) in Middlebury, Vermont

This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The starting rate for the position is $15.75 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

•Carrying bags of guests from their personal vehicles to golf carts

•Washing, drying and storing golf carts

•Cleaning guest’s golf clubs

•Set-up, break down and maintenance of the practice facility

•Set-up and staging of carts for play in the morning and for tournaments

•General maintenance of grounds around golf shop, cart barn and parking lot

•Assist and/or lead junior camp programs as needed

•Perform other job tasks assigned by the golf operations supervisor and course management staff

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous employment with golf course as an attendant, ranger or starter is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

•Knowledge of golf operations and rules of play preferred

•Self-starter

•Excellent customer service skills

•Passionate about game of golf
