A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity (https://www.indeed.com/hire/c/info/ways-to-measure-productivity?hl=en&co=US) of its staff. Warehouse Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment's notice, so an ability to multitask is and delegate is essential with this role.

Responsibilities/Duties

Major Responsibilities include, but no limited to:

  • Produces plastic substrate on his shift at the lowest possible cost.

  • Maintains a positive safety attitude among shift members.

  • Maintains a safe work area during his shift.

  • Produces extruded substrate to meet quality standards as established by quality control.

  • Produces extruded substrate in compliance with the manufacturing schedule.

  • Cooperates with other supervisors to ensure efficient operation.

  • Takes advantage of opportunities to increase knowledge of the extrusion process.

  • Trains new employees for efficient and safe operation.

  • Supervises Extrusion Operators on all three shifts.

  • Monitors employee performance and prepares annual performance reviews for all subordinates.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of related operations experience preferred, in Warehouse operations

  • Safety leadership experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated business acumen required.
