Description

Seeking Sr Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of development experience to contribute to and lead applied R&D and product development programs.

 

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified Candidates will be able to support several (not necessarily all) of the following:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including power conversion topologies (e.g., analog filters, transistor and op-amp circuits, interface circuits, signal conditioning, AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, AC/AC converters, and power supplies)
  • Large scale power conversion of 10 kW to 100s kW
  • Design electromagnetics for power applications
  • Design for high frequency/wide band gap power conversion
  • Design for high frequency, high power amplifiers
  • Lead technical electrical design efforts for projects in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Implement new technology from concept through detailed design
  • Proficiency using design and simulation software such as Altium, KiCAD, SPICE, MATLAB and Simulink for custom PCBs from schematic capture through layout and physical routing, test, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of high-power electronics design for vehicle electrification, renewable energy, generator, and battery charger applications
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering codes and safety standards

Requirements

- - Exclusive US citizenship is required - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required - BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university - Minimum 8 years industry experience with power electronics systems such as motor drives, generators, AC/AC and DC/DC converters, and/or energy storage.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
