Description

Seeking Electrical Systems Engineer with 5+ years of systems integration experience to support and lead applied R&D and product development programs.

 

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified Candidates will be able to support several (not necessarily all) of the following:

  • Assess vehicle (e.g. aircraft, ground, remotely operated, etc.) requirements and develop relevant integrated system architectures

``` - Establish integrated system architectures which enable subsystem communication, power distribution, and control

``` - Develop integration plans, create interface control documents (ICDs), and track requirements against plans

``` - Collaborate with partners and team members to implement the required physical and logical system interfaces

``` - Perform hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software integrations throughout various stages of the design and build

``` - Use of common embedded and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, aircraft communications protocols, and Open Mission Systems

``` - Drive and support system trade studies, design, design reviews, integration, assembly, and test efforts

``` - Application of relevant electrical engineering and safety codes and standards

- - Exclusive US citizenship is required - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required - BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required - Minimum 5 years industry experience with systems design and integration

Salary Range: $80,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
