Survey Technician

KEITH is looking for an Survey CAD Technician to join our Survey and Mapping team in our Miami, Florida office.   We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture.  We are a well-established multidisciplinary company that offers land surveying, civil engineering, subsurface utility engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and construction management services.  The firm was founded on the principle of achieving success by combining the latest technology with client oriented business practices, and a strong group of talented professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with CAD mapping in the creation of surveys, maps, plats and sketches & legal  descriptions

  • Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed

  • Download data collectors, process & analyze data

  • Prepare survey and SUE project deliverables and ensure client requirements are met

  • Participate in LiDAR data collection group

  • Establish processes for LiDAR from field to finish

  • Ensure that quality control procedures are being implemented

  • Monitor technical and quality control standards

  • Provide quality control and quality assurance on survey deliverables

  • Participate and support development of long-term goals and objectives

  • Monitor and improve upon production levels

  • Enforce company policies with respect to safety, protocol, and procedure

    Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience with CAD mapping

  • Experience with AutoCAD is a must
