Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, spare parts and equipment in industrial

company. Orders tools reposition and calibrates measurement tools

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:

  • Regular attendance is a requirement that is key to performing the job.

  • Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains computerized records of tools and equipment issued and

returned.

  • Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.

  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.

  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.

  • Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.

  • Calibrates measurement tools internally and manage outside tool calibration.

  • Delivers tools or equipment to workers.

  • Marks and identifies tools and equipment.

  • Keeps computerized cost of tools issued to employees.

  • Keeps up to date ISO9001 operational procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned.
