SUMMARY The Manager of Technical Services will be responsible for the technical aspects of aircraft and engine management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tracking engines and aircraft through the repair and check process. Review airframe and engine A.D.s to advise management the status and financial impact of current or upcoming A.D.s. Review customer requirements versus AAR owned aircraft and engines. Performs inspections of aircraft and engines for purchasing and post lease. Generate and review aircraft and engine workscopes to meet the customers needs. Locate and purchase material to be used in the aircraft or engine repair including review of track ability documents. Report current status of the engine or aircraft repair check to management. Route removed material for repair. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Arts degree BA or Bachelor of Science degree BS from four year college or university or eight years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of ten years experience in aircraft and engine repair. Minimum AP license with Bachelors preferred. Strong background in quality, inspection and sales considered.
