The department of Public Safety has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time ID and Building Security Access Representative to work at UHealth. The ID and Building Security Access Representative utilizes complex systems to monitor and provide access to campus buildings and transportation services. The ID and Building Security Access Representative serves as a liaison to faculty, staff, and facility managers to ensure the safety of facility occupants and guarantee the smooth operations of all facility functions and operations.
The Photo ID, Access Control Representative must use very complex systems T2 Flex, Pro-Watch and Onity Systems.
Assists customers with Photo ID badges, building access, parking and public transportation.
Processes sales of ID badges and accessories, parking and transit permits, parking validations, bicycle permits, and background checks.
Assists customers with replacing broken/lost access and transit cards.
Answer phone calls greeting students, faculty and staff and addressing and resolving issues through
appropriate channels.
Monitor and respond to email inquiries received through two departmental email accounts, one for Parking and another one for Photo ID.
Assists customers with scheduling UM Transportation Department shuttles.
Processes and distributes daily reports including parking, transit, and access reports.
Reconciles daily credit card, check, IDR, payroll deduction and student account sales.
Programs and troubleshoots ID badges and access cards for campus locking systems.
Processes employment clearances.
Files and scans department records.
Logs customer interaction notes in database.
Adheres to proper telephone etiquette and use of call center software.
Categorized as Tier 1 emergency employee. Expected to work at the Emergency Hotline call center before, during, and/or after emergencies, including, but not limited to hurricanes.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
