Quick Turn Engine Center, LLC (f/k/a/ iAero Thrust) Facility Security in Miami, Florida

Position Summary: As a Professional Security Officer/Fire Watch for IAero Thrust, you will be Responsible for the Security and Safety of our client s property and personnel. As the Security Officer you will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Fire watch personnel maintain surveillance of areas
  • The fire watch maintains a lookout for small fires started by these sparks and bits of slag.
  • Should a fire begin to develop or occur, they execute their primary duty of sounding the alarm and, if possible, attempt to control the fire.
  • Respond to security alarms in a timely manner.
  • Perform perimeter checks to ensure the property is secure.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid guard card/license
  • Complete a background investigation
  • Must have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Must have valid I-9 documentationto work.
  • Due to nature of job, must speak, read, and write English.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Moderate computer skills
  • Job requires lifting of parcels weighing up to 40-50lbs.

Job Demands

Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. With assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
