[Duties, and Responsibilities: ]{new="" roman="" times=""}

  • Plan, design, and furnish interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
  • Formulate design that is practical and aesthetic.
  • Responsible for preparing scale and detailed drawings with AutoCAD and making detailed 3D models.
  • Assemble elevations and sections, as well as exterior and interior perspectives of 3D models with Layout.
  • Create graphics designs with Adobe Photoshop and prepare presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint for proposals of new buildings, remodels and additions.
  • Perform area calculations and other tabulations with Microsoft Excel.
  • Assemble architectural documents with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Support architects and clients on a variety of projects, ranging from custom homes to multifamily and mixed-use apartment buildings, and commercial buildings.
  • Prepare applications for planning and building control departments such as site plans, floor plans, demolition plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, roof plans, elevations, section and details plans.
