We are seeking a talented machinist to join our team of industry-leading professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our CNC machines are properly and safely loaded and unloaded, meeting tolerance requirements, and performing at optimal efficiency. Responsibilities
Safe and responsible task performance.
Regular attendance is essential.
Sets-up equipment by setting adjustments to match specifications; testing tolerances.
Fabricates parts by operating equipment and using hand tools.
Verifies parts by using precision measuring instruments
Uses measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
Can independently setup, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills.
Improves setup time and machining processes.
Proficient in FANUC controls and use of inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
Understands and performs tool wear offsets.
Helps organize and maintain the machine shop environment.
Provides input for process improvement.
Follows ISO requirements and safety procedures.
Complies with quality policies, regulations, and instructions.
Communicates professionally and listens effectively.
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 40lbs
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
