TTEC Microsoft Server Administrator - Remote in Mexico DF, Mexico

What You’ll be Doing

The Windows Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day to day support, administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server-based technologies. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008/12/16, Active Directory, Hyper-V, VBS and PowerShell scripting languages, LDAP, TCP/IP, NTP, DNS, IIS, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP and SSL/TLS. The individual must take ownership of maintenance activities, incident and problem management to meet or exceed established service level agreements. In this role, the administrator will interact with internal, customer, and third-party teams for troubleshooting of configuration, integration and deployment activities.

You'll report to the System Administration Manager

During a Typical Day, You’ll

  • Provide Tier-2 support for Windows based systems and services (Windows Server, O365, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc)

  • Adhere to best practice security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer data

  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines

  • Document, schedule, conduct and test system changes in accordance with operational guidelines

  • Administration of patch management through SCCM

  • Administration and support of Mail Flow, Microsoft Exchange On-Prem, online (O365) and Proofpoint

What You Bring to the Role

  • Flexibility to work off-hours in support of a 24x7 business model.

  • 5 years experience installing, configuring and maintaining Windows Server

  • 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 in both physical and virtual environments.

  • 3 years’ experience with SCCM 2012/2016 patch management and application deployment

  • 3 years experience with Microsoft Exchange technologies (On-Prem / O365). Proofpoint experience is a plus.

  • BA/BS in CIS, related degree or equivalent experience

  • Current Microsoft Certified IT Professional or MCSA
