The Impact You’ll Make

As member of the talent acquisition team, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and selecting talent at all levels. Includes those who manage sourcing and recruiting teams within a shared service center, as well as those in Businesses who lead the broad spectrum of Talent Recruitment work for that business. For use in Business or Shared Service teams.

You will differentiate yourself by demonstrating your passion for Talent Acquisition, your strong customer focus.

Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.

Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.

Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary focal point for stakeholders (both business leadership and Human Resources in the region.)

  • Partner with our recruitment brand leader to build a positive employer brand and cohesive social media presence for the region with strong focus on diversity and inclusion.

  • Stay current on external benchmarking, industry trends and market intelligence to support business effectiveness as well as Talent Acquisition continuous improvement.

  • Serve as Talent Acquisition Partner for the Americas pole organization, Support on projects as needed.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as People Operations to ensure streamlined and efficient handoffs.

  • In collaboration with cross business colleagues, act as a local point of contact as needed to support GE Vernova recruiting activities in the region.

  • Ensure a culture of high integrity and compliance.

  • Provide wing to wing hands on recruiting for roles in the region.

What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • This role requires basic experience in the Human Resources & Sourcing and Recruiting. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Prior experience as a sourcer or talent Acquisition Partner in a corporate recruiting or agency environment

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish, English. Portuguese will be a plus.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Analytical skills and effective use of data to drive improvements

  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Prior experience with Workday as an ATS.

  • A strong customer focused, delivery mindset.

  • Track record of influencing diversity and inclusion efforts.

  • Demonstrated experience with corporate recruitment delivery in the Energy industry.
