Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the project scope and timeline.

  • Coordinate sprints and ceremonies, including retrospectives and daily stand-ups.

  • Report KPIs and progress to business stakeholders.

  • Coach team members in the Scrum framework.

  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.

  • Work with Product Owners to help manage backlogs and new requests.

  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.

  • Help teams implement changes effectively.

  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each Sprint.

  • Guide development teams to a higher Agile maturity.

  • Help build a productive environment and a self-organizing Scrum team.

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with advanced experience in Scrum Master role.

  • A good understanding of the SDLC (software development lifecycle)

  • Solid understanding of Scrum techniques (user story, estimation, backlog refinement, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and servant-leadership skills

  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish

  • Effect team building and problem-solving abilities

  • Legally able to work in Mexico.

Desired Characteristics:

  • A recognized Scrum Master certification

  • Experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) or Jira

  • Software engineering background
