Eastman Production Designer in Mexico City, Mexico

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and talented Production Designer to join our team. As a Production Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the brand team with technical support, helping to edit and prepare files that meet requirements and uphold brand standards. This includes creating on-brand designs for various digital and traditional touchpoints and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of final production-ready files and materials. Your expertise in design principles, technical skills, and ability to transform conceptual designs into print-ready and/or digital assets will contribute to elevating our brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Support brand team members in the development of final production-ready branded content, design, and digital materials.

  • Develop final graphic adaptations of approved creative concepts.

  • Work through backlog of design requests and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Maintain and develop templates that drive brand consistency.

  • Craft accurate and on-time deliverables by designing, executing, and packaging production files. Ensure file quality for print and digital media.

  • Uphold and integrate brand guidelines, requirements, printing specifications, and graphic standards in all phases of artwork.

  • Organize and maintain accurate files, manage timelines, and adjust priorities of deliverables.

  • Edit and prepare files that meet graphic standards, including making type and design edits, resizing campaign concepts/key art for multi-media executions, and cleaning up files for consistency.

  • Retouch images in Photoshop and apply special effects to a wide range of photography.

  • Add interactive functionality to PDFs.

  • Assist in providing project and printing specifications and collaborate with print shop and production vendors to ensure the quality of materials. Deliver press-ready files.

  • Perform photo and art searches on stock photo websites and internal databases.

  • Work with creative managers and writers to prepare presentations.

  • Create design comps as needed.

  • Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control, asset libraries, etc.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of design principles, excellent technical skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to champion and enforce brand standards

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with ease

  • Attention to detail and depth of knowledge in print production processes and techniques.

  • Familiarity with creating, resizing, and outputting files for print and digital media.

  • Experience in retouching images.

  • Ability to manage timelines and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate files and documentation.

Software Proficiency:

  • Adobe InDesign

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Figma

  • Asana experience is a plus

  • Adobe After Effects (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design required

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of digital design experience

  • Agency experience is a plus

  • Fluency in English is required.
