Amazon Inbound Supply Chain Manager, Inbound Supply Chain in Mexico City, Mexico

Description

If you are an experienced supply chain professional with a passion to innovate and contribute in a fast-paced growing environment - you might be a good fit to join Mexico Supply Chain team. The Inbound Supply Chain Manager acts as the bridge between business and operations teams and is responsible for seamless planning of inbound freight into Fulfillment Centers and execution during peak and off peak periods while maximizing vendor and seller experience. This role involves driving critical decisions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership and demands strong program management skills along-with an ability to drive data driven discussions. We expect the candidate have exceptional analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills. Some of the role responsibilities are:

  • Set up processes to strengthen inbound supply chain planning with an objective of minimizing cost and maximizing customer/seller experience

  • Own seller and vendor experience in the supply chain organization

  • Make the existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation

  • Rollout best practices from other geographies / companies to minimize end to end supply chain losses

  • Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations and technical audiences

  • Program manage and drive decision making across cross functional teams and senior leadership

Candidates should exhibit the following:

  • Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to own and follow through on issues

Key job responsibilities

Candidates responsibilities would be the following:

Must plan and organize multiple stakeholders with multitasking teams to develop the best solutions for the network.

Analytical outputs based on data driven decisions are expected to impact the network.

Candidate will configure and plan a network of over 50 arcs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of data analysis experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
