We are very excited to welcome a new Accounts Payable Team Leader (Americas) to our team, and we hope it’s you!

The role is based in our Mexico City GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems and manage the core data IFF executives need to make key business decisions. You will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operation of the respective regional PTP (Procure-to-Pay) Americas team, flexibly working according to the US/LATAM working hours.

Job Description

  • Meeting Key Performance Indicators, by working with supervisors, coordinators, and analysts of the respective team.

  • Manage overall team performance by driving an engaged and proactive mindset.

  • Ensuring team utilization, holiday balance and mandatory trainings are on track with the set guidelines.

  • Setting and executing mitigation plans to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Proactively informing of issues to the Manager and drive the resolution.

  • Drive Key Interviews and make decision on team fit and salary.

  • Ensure process improvements and harmonization’s are executed within the teams.

  • Monitor the P2P activities globally, drive change and integration.

  • Propose off-cycle increases and promotions to the Manager.

  • Executing of timely performance reviews within the teams.

  • Leading regional calls with regional leaders.

  • Monitor team and individual’s performance and report on metrics to the manager.

  • Other duties as requested by the manager.

Job Requirements

• University Degree.

• 4+ years of relevant experience & strong understanding of Accounts Payable Process required.

• People & stakeholder management experience required.

• Flexibility to work occasionally US/LATAM working hours required

• Excellent English language skills – both verbal and written.

• A good working knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP). Good Microsoft Office skills, with an excellent Excel working knowledge.

• Good communication and organization skills.

• Great customer service is essential.

• Being a team player & bringing over a can-do-mentality.

• Ability to work effectively and in cooperation with various departments.

• Certified Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
