We are seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Generalist with expertise in administering Application Development Lifecycle Management (ADLM) tools, including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Smartsheets, OpsGenie, Artifactory and PagerDuty. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, support, license management, compliance and optimization of these tools, contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • ADLM Tool Administration:

Administer and maintain Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Smartsheets, and PagerDuty platforms.

Configure and customize ADLM tools to align with organizational needs.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the tools.

  • Automation:

Develop and automate using Java, Groovy, Javascript, terraform, etc. programming as needed, especially in Jira, Jira Service Management, Artifactory

  • User Support and Training:

Provide user support for ADLM tools, addressing issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.

Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members on effective utilization of the tools.

  • Integration and Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ADLM tools into existing workflows and processes.

Implement and manage integrations between ADLM tools and other IT systems.

  • Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

Generate reports and analytics to assess the effectiveness of ADLM tools.

  • Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ADLM tool configurations, processes, and best practices.

Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and enhancements.

  • Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security measures within ADLM tools.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • License Management and Compliance:

Manage license allocation and cleanup of unused/inactive licenses

Ensure compliance with licenses procured vs allocated.

License reporting

  • Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to ADLM tools.

Propose and implement improvements to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven 5+ years experience in administering Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Smartsheets, Artifactory, OpsGenie and PagerDuty.

  • Experience with scripting/programming languages - Java, Groovy, JavascriptStrong understanding of ITIL practices and principles.

  • Advanced English.
