Job Description

IFF is seeking for a passionate Credit Professional to join our Regional Credit Center based in Mexico City. Credit Analyst will be responsible for executing collections strategy to achieve regional targets, deliver service to our Internal and External Customers (located in the US and Canada); Interact with other areas involved in the Order to Cash process. The position offers an exciting opportunity to improve communication skills, analysis and judgement as well as building strong relationship with our Nourish, Health & Bioscience and Pharma Solutions businesses in the North America region.

Job qualifications:

  • Accounting bachelor or equivalent (Administration, International Business, Economics).

  • Proficiency in English (grammar, speaking, writing & listening). Interviews will be 100% in English.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Credit & Collections. Experience in Shared Services format is desirable.

  • SAP knowledge is highly desirable.

  • Multi-task, Strong analytical skills, proactive, self-motivated, passionate and strong team player.

Job Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Rules Driven Collection and Order Hold Activity opposite Customers Assigned

  • Collections Tasks (Require language skills)

  • Set-up Disputes (DP1)

  • Issuing Dunning Letters through Collections Tool (Get Paid)

  • Collection calls to customers

  • Providing Invoice Copies/Responding to Customer Queries

  • Requesting Additional Payment Remittance Details

  • Standard Reporting, Quality, Metrics and Compliance

  • Escalation to Credit Operations Specialist Situations falling outside Collection Strategy Actions Assigned.

  • Input of Customer Level Details to Collection Effectiveness Files for sharing with Business to drive improvement in customer Past Due performance.

  • Allow/Collect Unearned Discounts as Appropriate within DOA (Delegation of Authority)
