Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of non-conformal product disposition (parts and assemblies) at the Mexicali facility in coordination with stakeholders (Stress, M&P, Design, etc.).

  • Internal and external customer support to guarantee high performance in fabrication & assembly cells regarding specification and blueprint interpretation/updates.

  • Perform analysis on non-conformances related with nacelles systems and create repair guidelines.

  • Coordinate and monitor through all the business units the different quality notifications.

  • Prepare, schedule, and execute the assigned engineering projects.

  • Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status.

  • Participate in RRCA Lean events to reduce defects.

  • Strong interpretation of drawing, specs, technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.

  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.

  • Uses and validates SW and CI tools to solve problems.

  • Awareness of assigned tasks and activities on product metrics.

  • Proficient with usage of problem solving tools.

  • Experience with Aerospace industry standards and specifications (SAE, ISO, AS 9100, ASTM, etc).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.

  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering. or 3 years as MRS Engineer.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on metal/mechanical in related field

  • Lean Six Sigma Knowledgeable

  • GD&T Knowledge.

  • Proficient Conversational and written English required, needs to be able to efficiently communicate with corporate leaders both in person and in reports/via email.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Navigation.

  • Knowledge in 8D methodology.
