Emerson Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in MEXICALI, Mexico

Skills, abilities and experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Lean/7 waste concepts

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement Projects (Kaizen)

  • Knowledge of process control tools (SPC, histograms, ANOVA)

  • High experience in the use of problem solving tools (Pareto analysis, 5 Why's, 6 Sigma, A3s,)

  • Experience in administration of capacity matrices.

  • Experience in balancing lines and demand leveling.

  • Proven experience in calibration of control valve instrumentation (using HART devices is helpful).

  • Knowledge of the requirements and foundations of the ISO 9000:2015 certification.

  • Basic knowledge of Safety, Ergonomics and accident prevention concepts.

  • Knowledge of elaboration of process routes and costing by standards.

  • Experience in design and implementation of one-piece continuous flow processes.

  • Relevant industry experience with a proven track record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects (process automation, systems and instrumentation)

  • Experience using software/applications (Oracle, MS office, Solid Edge, Project)

Personal Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in manual and automated manufacturing processes

  • Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or related.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • Strong problem-solving capability.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication of technical ideas.

  • Management of priorities based on verifiable data (data driven)

  • Customer focused approach (internal and external)

  • Excellent analytical skills and oriented to results achievement.

  • Ensure that all work aligns with Company procedures and standards and is carried out efficiently within agreed timescales.

  • Effective time management, identification of priorities
