Product Development and Sustaining Engineer 1

We are seeking a talented and driven engineer with a background in semiconductors or electronics engineering. This role involves working on the development and sustaining activities related to semiconductor products.

Ideal candidates should thrive on data analysis, take ownership, and be proactive in finding innovative solutions to a variety of challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze production data using statistical software: Utilize statistical software to analyze production data. Collaborate with US product owners to review the results. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Creation and follow-up of prototype builds: Submit prototype build requests aimed at improving product yield and supply flexibility. Evaluate alternate components and variety of other second sources. Monitor the progress of these prototypes and ensure they align with project schedules and goals.

  • Lead presentation of test data results: Present test data results in specialized board review meetings. Clearly explain evaluation findings and their implications. Assess project feasibility based on the data.

  • Calculation of failure rates and statistical limits: Use historical production data to calculate failure rates. Determine statistical limits for quality control. Understand the reliability and performance of the product.

  • Collaboration with other engineering teams: Work closely with design, process, test, and reliability teams. Assist in executing various activities related to product development and improvements.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential.

  • Fluency in conversational english at an 85% proficiency level is required.
