Key Job Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of Komatsu Electric Wheel Loaders

  • Able to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites

  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision but also participate in the work of other mechanics within the shop and field environment

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3-5 years of mining or construction related experience

  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals.

  • Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems common to mining and/or construction equipment

  • Hold a strong standard for safety and quality

  • Maintain service truck, DOT health card and electronic log book
