Laborer I (L1)

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  1. Maintain Good attendance record. “On Time” all the time

  2. Hand excavation for utility location

  3. Trench clean out

  4. Laying out conduit supplies

  5. Load and unload truck and trailers

  6. Job site clean up

  7. Spotter for backhoe

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

Entry level position. High school or GED required. Able to use basic hand tools. See tool list for hand tools required for position. Valid driver’s license required.

Required Training:

Safety Orientation, Quality Orientation, MSDS, Trench safety

Labor I

Measuring tape – 25’ minimum (Engineers measure preferred)

Adjustable wrench – Crescent

Knife – pocket or razor

Safety glasses

Hard hat

Safety vest

Bucket or Tool bag

New Hire Safety Orientation, MSDS, LOTO and QMS are required on or before the first day of employment.
