Equipment Inventory Control Intern
Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.
At NDS, we take seriously our core values of Precision, Dedication and Care. We are seeking a highly qualified professional individual to fill a temporary Equipment Inventory Control Internship at our Mesa Arizona facility.
NOTE: This is a PAID Internship. Local candidates only
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in defining a logical nomenclature location and ID system compatible with NDS Requirements
• Uniquely identify each piece of equipment for maintenance and support
• Will research methods such as barcoding, Q Codes and passive IR tagging
• Conduct count reconciliation and save files in appropriate network locations.
Requirements, Education & Skills
• Currently enrolled and/or attending college in a Supply Chain Management program
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, reading and writing skills
• Other duties as required by management
• Ability to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations
