J OB SUMMARY:

The spring/fall internship is designed to provide high school students long-term exposure to a specific career path at Textron Aviation. Interns will take part in meaningful business-driven work that creates a pipeline, connecting foundational knowledge with future career goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION BY ROLE:

Under the supervision of the Manager, this position will be responsible for the following based on role.

Engineering

STEM education preferred, support engineers in performing complex lab procedures, reviewing technical reports and gain experience in CATIA programming

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Project-based work focused on needs of your area of the business

  • Data entry, documentation, and record updating

  • Group work through coordination with other departments

  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current high school student 16-19 years old; high school junior or senior preferred

  • Students from schools with established partnership preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience navigating web applications/internet search

  • Excellent note taking and organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Problem solving skills

  • Drive for results

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Willingness to learn
