Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Road Freight Driver with Robinson Trucking LLC, you'll play a crucial role in our transportation team. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely delivery of goods to designated locations. We prioritize our drivers' well-being and maintain a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe Operation:
    • Drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle, ensuring the safe transport of goods to and from specified locations.
    • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Loading and Unloading:
    • Efficiently load and unload cargo, following company and industry safety guidelines.
  • Route Adherence:
    • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure punctual deliveries.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours of service, and vehicle inspections.
  • Effective Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and fellow team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing freight transportation, including weight limits, hours of service, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
  • Proven experience as a Class A CDL driver.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
