Role Overview:

The 

Edge Trimmer Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' lawns have crisp, well-defined edges. You'll be responsible for using edge trimmers (also known as weed eaters or string trimmers) to maintain the borders where the lawn meets other features such as garden beds, patios, pathways, and driveways. Your expertise will contribute to the overall aesthetics of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Precise Edging:
    • Use edge trimmers to create clean, defined edges along lawns.
    • Trim grass and vegetation near sidewalks, driveways, flowerbeds, and other landscape features.
    • Pay attention to detail, ensuring consistent results.
  2. Tool Maintenance:
    • Regularly inspect and maintain edge trimmers.
    • Sharpen cutting blades or replace strings as needed.
    • Check alignment, tension, and safety features.
    • Troubleshoot and address any mechanical issues promptly.
  3. Safety and Efficiency:
    • Follow safety protocols while operating edge trimmers.
    • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and ear protection.
    • Optimize trimming techniques for efficiency and quality.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with other lawn care professionals to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate with team members regarding scheduling and client preferences.
  5. Client Interaction:
    • Interact professionally with clients during service visits.
    • Address any specific requests related to edging or lawn maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1* years* working with edge trimmers or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of edge trimmers (electric and gas-powered).
  • Skills:

    • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance tasks.
