This position is for a CBA Maintenance Control Coordinator - T-45 Program - NAS with a company location in Meridian.

 

Summary: Performs administrative duties using computers, and other associated equipment within maintenance control. Schedules and tracks aircraft maintenance actions. Monitors maintenance schedules for accuracy and completion. Provides assistance, guidance, and instruction to employees in Maintenance Control. Possess a high degree of expertise in the control and coordination of aircraft maintenance. Must have a thorough working knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications. Must have a thorough working knowledge of aircraft maintenance records. Must have a working understanding of the aircraft and aircraft systems. Must have the ability to schedule and track aircraft maintenance including inspections, preservations, oil sampling, and engine washes and rinses. Must be able to operate two-way communication equipment and speak in a clear and concise manner. Must be customer oriented.

 

Duties and Responsibilities Include: Establishes and maintains a maintenance system inspection schedule and assists in assigning work priorities to maintenance actions. Schedules all maintenance actions to include, but not limited to: Coordinates dailies and turn-around inspections; 140- Day Corrosion Inspection; Schedules aircraft for daily flight schedule; 14/28-day aircraft washes; Oversees the Configuration Management Program; Phase inspections; Transfer/acceptance inspections; Aircraft static display request; Preservation/de-preservation; Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area. Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations. Responsible for adhering to Company Tool Control Program. Tracks cannibalization and maintains liaison with Supply. Screens maintenance actions for post-maintenance check flight requirements. Prepares aircraft readiness reports. Monitors high time component tracking program. Monitors aircraft issuing/scheduling to ensure daily schedule completion. Verifies completion of required maintenance by checking applicable maintenance forms. Releases aircraft or returns aircraft for completion of maintenance. May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.

 

Requirements and Qualifications Include: Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces aviation maintenance courses or other schools with equivalent curriculum or five (5) years of on-the-job training and/or experience required. Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position. Must have five (5) years of experience in military or civilian aviation maintenance/production control and scheduling. As a government contractor, Requires all employees to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment in accordance with Executive Order 14042.
