Imperial Systems Inc. ERP Administrator (OJT) in Mercer, Pennsylvania

We are looking for a qualified ERP Administrator that will take overall responsibility and ownership of the ERP implementation for our business. This will include (but not be limited to) employee training, workstation provisioning and troubleshooting, and keeping up with the latest developments of the ERP System. You will also be expected to provide instruction to users as needed on the proper use of this system to ensure effective and safe utilization.

A successful ERP Administrator will provide overall ownership and support for maintenance and continued use going forward.

Responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of ERP System, its functionality and how the systems tie together with finance and operations.
  • Provide Support and Training to ERP users.
  • Work with the IT department to create user accounts and provide access and restrictions as appropriate.
  • Be the subject matter expert for system functionality and proper systems use.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair system software.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure optimization and system security.
  • Prioritize both short- and long-term project needs to ensure business needs are met.
  • Professionally communicate information when appropriate to both internal employees and external sources.
  • Execute appropriate reports based on business requirements.

Requirements and skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be well- organized, neat and possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of and comfortable with Microsoft based computer programs.
