Closets By Design, Inc CAD Drafter/Cutlister/Parts Coordinator in Mequon, Wisconsin

Closets by Design – Milwaukee is looking for detail-oriented CAD drafters with a strong knowledge in cabinet construction.  Experience with Cabinet Vision software and/or designing and building custom cabinets is a plus. Our services include custom design, manufacturing, and installation tailored to our client’s space and needs. Our storage solutions are expansive, ranging from walk-in and reach-in closet, pantry, garage, office, entertainment centers, and more. Closets by Design has been in business for nearly 40 years with locations across the US and Canada. Closets by Design - Milwaukee is the first franchise located in the state of WI. Our office and showroom is located in Mequon, WI. Our company services customers throughout the state of WI. What We’re Looking For: Our Drafters/Cutlisters are important members of our team and help bring our designs and the customer’s vision to life through the following responsibilities: * Review sales designs to ensure that the design is compliant with the company’s product offerings and installation requirements and limitations. * Assemble an accurate cutlist that identifies all parts and machining requirements for the components required by the design. * Integrate designs into Cabinet Vision. * Work with the Production Department in preparing/troubleshooting current jobs as well as increasing order processing efficiencies. Ideal Candidates Will Have: * Drafting or design experience. * Woodworking and cabinet making experience is a plus. * Knowledge of various woodworking machines, including CNC, is a plus. * Manufacturing experience preferred. * Previous experience creating cutlists for cabinets, closets, and other organizational units is a plus. Position Requirements: * Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar drafting software required. * Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within deadlines. * Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team as well as alone. * High School Diploma or equivalent required. College training preferred. Full training will be provided to the right individual on all company products, project designs, and cutlisting. Apply today to learn more!
