Reimagine What's Possible Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a Site Supervisor for our Air Separation Unit (ASU) and associated pipeline in Mentor, OH. The Mentor, OH on-site plant supplies gaseous nitrogen to approximately 20 miles of pipeline. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Mentor, OH facility on a 24/7 basis. The Superintendent will have the overall responsibility to ensure the plant is operated and maintained to meet stringent customer reliability requirements along with disciplined internal budgetary and safety requirements. This position will work closely and in conjunction with the Cleveland ASU facility and report to the Cleveland ASU Site Manager. The candidate must be self-motivated, safety conscious, a good communicator, along with good organization, operating and mechanical skills. Key responsibilities for this position include: * Safety performance and actively participating in the Basic Safety Process (BSP). * Promote and support customer relations through effective communications. * Performing and maintaining all administrative responsibilities for the site. * Support all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects. * Identifying maintenance concerns, developing, and implementing corrective/preventive measures. Required Skills / Abilities: * Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. * A track record of success on Safety, Environmental and Quality. * Strong operating experience in similar plants or operations of similar complexity. * A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity & inclusion. * Maintenance and troubleshooting skills. * Team player that is flexible and has a positive attitude. * A track record in driving continuous improvement. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * A self-starter with proven leadership abilities. * Demonstrated computer skills. * Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50lbs. Education and Licensing Requirements: * High School diploma or GED required. * Trade School or Technical degree a plus but not required. * 5 years of operations and plant management experience. * Military candidates and veterans are encouraged to apply! This position would be best suited for Junior Officer/CWO/LDO or Non-commissioned Officers with specific focus on a technical leadership background. Examples would be, but not limited to, experience in propulsion systems, engineering fields, nuclear power, aircraft maintenance, civil engineering. * Clean driving record required.
