Position Summary This Sr Director of Marketing Communications will be responsible for the leadership, development and execution of the integrated and holistic communications strategy that both supports and forms the global IPT Business Unit. Working cross functionally with the IPT General Manager, Healthcare Marketing Vice Presidents and global Commercial Leaders, this individual will lead the positioning and protection of the IPT brand as the leader in reprocessing. This position will be responsible for developing and conveying the business unit value propositions across the portfolios, direct downstream programs including collateral, content, advertising and oversee / manage outside agency partners to deliver best-in-class materials. Duties * Identify challenges and emerging issues and work with the IPT leadership team to gain alignment on internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them * Serves the strategic thought partner to the Vice President & General Manager, Marketing Vice Presidents, and Commercial leaders * Oversees market research initiatives and partners with Vice President & General Manager and Marketing Vice Presidents to implement communication strategies based on findings * Consistently reviews competitive business and communication activities and proactively develops the communication strategies to defend IPT's leadership position * Determines the appropriate cross promotion strategy to successfully position legacy, acquired and other Healthcare products and services * Exercise judgment to prioritize media opportunities, and prepare talking points and presentations for the Vice President & General Manager * Serve as the business unit representative for all Communications support within Healthcare Responsible for brand consistency across all markets for IPT communication outlets * Serves as the lead in selecting, reviewing, and maintaining the agreements, spend and relationship with outside agency partners to produce high quality deliverables on time and within budget * Analyzing existing branding/marketing strategies and determine opportunities based on market dynamics and changing landscape * Determine and recommend technology platforms needs to enhance marketing communication efficiency, quality and on time delivery * Delivers quarterly and yearly reports on progress and budget allocation * Build and manage the annual global Marketing Communications OPEX Budget * Manage Associates reporting into the Global Marketing Communications team, overseeing and setting both long- and short-term goals Education Degree Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Required Experience Bachelor's degree required. Masters Degree in Business/Marketing or other related field of study preferred Healthcare/Medical Marketing Communication experience strongly preferred.
