JOB REQUIREMENTS: Intern/Co Op/Student - 2240 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an electrical engineering intern to assist in developing the next generation of industrial tools and solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated electrical engineering student to become an integral team member of new product development. What you will be doing? 1. Assist in the design of electronic and embedded systems design to ensure they meet VOC/VOB/Development specifications. 2. Assist in the development of firmware for electrically integrated products, including motor control and safety features 3. Working with colleagues using modern embedded systems engineering processes, controls, and tools to create high-quality, robust, and reliable electronic hardware and firmware. 4. Responsible for ensuring that all electronic hardware and firmware are developed adhering to the engineering controls. 5. Participate in Design Reviews, DFMEA, SFMEA of controls, Risk Analysis, DVP&R. 6. Perform validation testing in the development lab. 7. Assist in Advanced Engineering Technology development for future NPD projects. 8. Collaborate with global teams on creative problem solving to gain insights from subject matter experts Work Environment Primary work environment is in a temperature-controlled office setting but may also be visiting different manufacturing facilities where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required.
