Your role on our team:

The Finance Manager supporting Global Operations will be responsible for bridging financial support from the individual global plant financial controllers to Global Operations leadership headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. The manager will partner with business parts in Operations and Engineering to provide financial insights through reporting and analysis, with the overall goal of increasing plant profitability.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Support global Power Tools manufacturing including, but not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, cost variance analysis, operating plans, and capital expense planning.

  • Lead projects supporting global Power Tool operations strategic planning including capacity analysis, make/buy decisions, and material/labor/overhead cost scenarios.

  • Partner with global manufacturing sites and factory Finance teams to understand risks and opportunities – communicate key summaries with Operations and Finance Leadership

  • Support US & global R&D team processes from concept though mass production, ensuring financial best practices are applied consistently.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities and streamline processes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • 6+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting; Global Operations or Global Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • 2+ years people management experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Able to travel internationally up to 5-10% of the time and be flexible to join occasional meetings outside of regular business hours.

  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization (written, verbal, presentation, and listening).

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Able to summarize from large data sets.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Ability to work well on diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
