JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join our brand-new state-of-the-art fabrication department to design and program fabricated sheet metal components used in the build of our high-value, automated machines. Our new fab shop is a showcase of technology, smart processing, and precision workmanship. We have invested in the best tools, and we want to hire the best people to use them. This position plans, programs and runs. the brand new high-end Amada Press Brake. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Utilize Amada software in combination with CAD or Solidworks to plan and program the press. Operate press for low volume, high precision parts for use in our proprietary machine tool builds. Utilize material handling equipment to supply machine and department with required material (15%). Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, working with engineering to continuously improve work product. Work with materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS Associates degree in fabrication, programming, or similar structured training program required. 2+ years experience in press brake programming. Experience with CAD or Solidworks preferred. Self-directed, organized, productive, strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship and strong written and verbal communication skill crucial for success. Regular use of overhead cranes for lifts greater than 50 pounds. Regularly stands for 8 hours. Regularly bends, stoops, reaches and moves. Regularly exerts up to 10 pounds of force and frequently exerts up to 25 pounds of force to move objects. Constantly required to correctly follow written and verbal instructions/prints requiring concentration and mental capability. Work environment is bright and temperature controlled.
