Kohl's Associate HR Business Partner in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

This roles drives HR initiatives and key people strategies within designated business to achieve business and associate established objectives. To achieve desired outcomes, this role supports and facilitate, in partnership with leadership, large scale succession planning, talent mobility, org transformation design and serves as the key partner to cross-functional HR/Legal/Finance partners to drive HR solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

DRIVES TALENT AND WORKFORCE PLANNING SOLUTIONS

  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners as a trusted HR resource through clear and consistent communication and timely execution of deliverables

  • Develop talent summaries and provide workforce planning analysis and insights

  • Provide recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadership.

  • Partners with team and department to to drive and accurately report headcount deliverables

  • Drive Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Talent conversations, connecting talent needs across the organization

    SUPPORTS LARGE SCALE BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND CHANGE

  • Day-to-day role responsibilities are driving and supporting the evolution and ever changing business org solutions

  • Develops strategic communication approach to org and transformation milestones

  • Influences leaders to implement and adopt changes

  • Identifies, develops and executes change management strategies to support business org transformation

  • Advises on talent movement, desired skills and succession planning associated with large scale org changes

  • Supports org design outputs to help drive op model conversations and restructuring of teams

  • Creates job descriptions and outlines roles & responsibilities to support new structures and career pathing

  • Plans for and reconciles financial iImpacts connected to org changes to ensure budgets and goals met

    IMPLEMENTS HUMAN CAPITAL INITIATIVES

  • Develops insights through analysis of data to share with Leadership

  • Provides analytics, trends, feedback and other data to drive business and talent decisions

  • Support and influence implementation and adoption of HR related initiatives across the organization

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project and program delivery

  • Influences, negotiates, and facilitates solutions with internal partners and stakeholders (i.e. BUF, COE, SSC, Workday)

  • May lead cross-functional human capital initiatives across the entire organization

    ENHANCES A CULTURE OF ASSOCIATE ENGAGEMENT

  • Develops and executes strategies for improving engagement and retention

  • Provide Leadership day to day guidance, counsel and support of business and talent strategies

  • Identify and inform Managers on opportunities and approaches for cross-functional partner alignment

  • Advocate and reinforce Kohl's values and DEI initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor degree, with an emphasis on HR/Business or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience in associate relations or HR

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

    PREFERRED

  • PHR or SPHR

  • Workday Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Google (sheets, slides, docs)
