We're seeking a CNC mill machinist in Minneapolis to properly and safely set up and operate CNC equipment. Location: Minneapolis, MN Wage: $22 - $35/hr. Hours: 6:30 am - 4 pm, Monday - Thursday Benefits of the CNC mill machinist: Medical Dental Vision FSA Life Disability Accident Critical Referral bonus Work in a climate-controlled shop Family-owned company Responsibilities of the CNC mill machinist: Perform all assigned machine shop operations in a safe and responsible manner Properly and safely load and unload raw materials in CNC machinery Program, set up and calibrate CNC equipment Understand and write simple G and M codes Use of gages and measuring tools to meet tolerance requirements Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot as needed including light maintenance Read blueprints and other work orders to perform jobs Qualifications of the CNC mill machinist: Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches, and other production orders Maintain routine records Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, micrometer, as well as, methods and techniques used in safe machining operations Mathematical skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Experience on Mazak and Okuma machines is a plus Education of the CNC mill machinist: High school diploma or GED certificate Two-year technical degree in machine technology or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience programming and operating CNC machine equipment Additional Information: Apply today and advance your machinist career.
