Product Designer Responsibilities:

  1. Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant for supported platforms.

  2. Craft designs within existing visual systems or standards.

  3. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for 2-plus billion users.

  4. Monitor the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists.

  5. Drive design walkthroughs in internal review processes.

  6. Solicit and provide feedback from partners to continually improve the quality of products through multiple iterations and explore a range of design options.

  1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Sciences, or a related field (or foreign equivalent), and 12 months of experience In the job offered or related occupation. Requires 12 months of experience involving the following skills:

    1. Designing applications end-to-end across both web and mobile platforms for both end-consumer and business users, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional partners to build, ship, and improve user experiences at a global scale
    1. Design whole features and product experiences which include onboarding, discovery, and end-to-end product flows, while also producing scalable reusable design components
    1. Proficient in design software such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
    1. Interaction design including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
    1. Using prototyping tools including Figma, Protopie, and Framer to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction works
    1. Typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense
    1. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
    1. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
    1. Defining product specifications and user experiences
    1. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
    1. Conducting end-to-end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
    1. Supporting end-to-end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
    1. Developing product goals
    1. Identifying product opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company.

$163,366/year to $183,370/year + bonus + equity + benefits
