Data Science, Analytics Responsibilities:

  1. Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products.

  2. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.

  3. Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions and product launches.

  4. Design and evaluate experiments and team/product holdouts.

  5. Set team goals, evaluate and define metrics, monitor key product metrics and their progress against goals, and understand root causes of changes in metrics.

  6. Propose what to build in the next roadmap.

  7. Understand ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends.

  8. Influence product teams and company leaders through presentation of data-based recommendations.

  9. Spread best practices to analytics and product teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a data science - related occupation. Foreign equivalent accepted Experience must include 36 months involving each of the following:

  2. Machine learning techniques

  3. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

  4. Relational database (SQL or PL*SQL)

  5. Developing in Python

  6. Statistical analysis using R

  7. Large scale data processing infrastructures using distributed systems (Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, or MPI)

  8. Quantitative analysis techniques: clustering, regression, pattern recognition, and descriptive and inferential statistics and

  9. Communicating and presenting results of data analyses

$250,104/year to $279,400/year + bonus + equity + benefits
