Summary:

Product & Regulatory Operations (PRO) plays a critical role in product development and legal compliance at Meta. They provide data and insights to build and improve products, like Facebook, Instagram, and Reality Labs.As a horizontal analytics team, Product & Regulatory Operations Analytics enables teams across PRO to make data-informed decisions by serving as analytics thought-partners to solve operational business problems. We build foundational data products and employ a diverse toolkit of analytical approaches to guide decision making.In this role, you won’t simply present data, but tell data-driven stories and share actionable insights. You will influence operations and systems using clear insights and recommendations, develop data-driven investment strategies to optimize product outcomes, and collaborate with a diverse set of cross-functional partners to identify, quantify, and solve PRO’s biggest challenges.This work utilizes one of the largest data sets in the world and drives high-stakes outcomes that impact billions of people on and off the platform. Required Skills:

Data Analyst, Product & Regulatory Ops Responsibilities:

  1. Identify metric trends and insights for business reviews to provide leadership visibility into operational health and performance against desired outcomes

  2. Translate business objectives into actionable analyses, clearly communicating technical concepts and operational implications to varied audiences

  3. Develop scalable analytics solutions that provide the essential insights needed to support agile decision making

  4. Apply quantitative skills and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for Product Delivery Operations

  5. Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Systems, and Engineering teams to identify and execute against opportunities that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness

  6. Drive forecasting, scenario planning, and predictive analytics to optimize our operational expenditures

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.A./B.S. degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or a similar technical field

  2. 5+ years of work experience in an analytics or consulting role involving strategy, problem solving, and/or technical systems

  3. Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment, while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders

  4. Experience communicating effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

  5. Experience in communication with senior management

  6. Experience using analytics to break down ambiguous, complex problems using data

  7. Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python)

  1. Experience developing data pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL frameworks

  2. Experience working in an operations organization

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
