Our client is a thriving venture capital firm with over $1 billion AUM.

Compliance Manager

Menlo Park; Hybrid

Base + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee US compliance, including daily regulatory issues and headquarters communication.

  • Serve as CCO in SEC filings, manage audits, and ensure SEC compliance.

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, including controls, training, and AML.

  • Monitor internal controls, provide staff training, and update manuals.

  • Coordinate with third parties on security trading systems and certifications.

  • Conduct regular compliance testing.

  • Liaise with headquarters risk control team on compliance and operational issues.

  • Stay updated on legal changes and update policies accordingly.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience in financial services compliance/legal

  • FRNA and SEC filing reporting is a huge plus but if not, risk control experience will do as well

  • Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese, will be communicating with the team in China

  • Must be interested in working for a startup fund environment
