JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the oversite of all company fleet vehicles and being a resource to all drivers of Summit Companies and its subsidiaries. Maintaining the highest level of safety on the road through compliance, appearance and efficiency of equipment, records, and maintenance. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Maintains and supports the company telematics program to include: Ensuring all company wheeled assets have the proper telematics devices installed Works with Fleet Manager and Equipment Managers to troubleshoot devices not responding. Retain appropriate inventory of spare telematics devices to ensure maximum uptime of telematics program. Assists managers and drivers with corrections of driver data. Helps to identify compliance issues by monitoring the Merchants Fleet Dashboard. Monitor the GPS tracking systems and hardware to ensure functionality. Supports the Fleet Manager to facilitate training on all aspects of the Telematics Program for drivers and managers. Compile appropriate periodic reporting of telematics devices and driver behaviors. Submit periodic reports including but not limited to Merchants Fleet Vehicle Database inventory miles driven. Safety violations Vehicle performance and conditions Assist Fleet Manager with fuel card program duties. Record employee Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) for the company fuel program, both issuing and terminating as required. Periodic fuel reporting, monthly and as necessary. Keeps a centrally controlled event log for incidents, accidents, and reportable items across the company, in coordination with Corporate Safety and Risk and subsidiary leadership. Supports key functional leaders in a matrixed organization to address various infractions, violations, citations and accidents. Addition and disposing of assets according to company policy. Keep accurate records relating to the above duties with prompt submission to the Fleet Manager. Compliance with safety management requirements when operating vehicles. Other du ies may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications: High School diploma/ GED required. Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered, strongly preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements: 3+ years of relative fleet experience with over 500+ vehicles, strongly preferred. Communication Skills: Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required. Systems and Software Skills: Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office, required. Other Qualifications: Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, required. Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement. Work Environment: Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote setting, work alone and with others. Employee will occasionally be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies. Employee will rarely be required to travel.
