JOB REQUIREMENTS: Department Manager - Essity243356 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: RST Leader (Department Manager) - Fiber Prep About the Role Essity\'s Global Supply Chain/Manufacturing team in North America is currently seeking a RST Leader for our pulping operations in the Menasha paper manufacturing site. This position will lead their department in safety, operations, productivity, reliability, and efficiency, by creating an environment where crew are at the center of problem solving and creating results. What You Will Do * Develop, implement, and evaluate the business unit performance to increase safety, quality, productivity, and profitability; * Provide leadership, guidance, coaching to the production teams, process leaders, maintenance team, with the goal to develop their expertise and knowledge; * Coach and support your team to take ownership of safe behaviors and be pro-active to resolve hazards; * Develop system and standards for your department; * Coach and motivate team leaders and operators in fulfilling their responsibility as equipment owners; * Develop and manage department budget; * Actively develop, plan, and execute a plan to increase operations performance of the production teams and equipment; * Organize the team\'s efforts by analyzing, prioritizing, and communicating actions to be taken during daily planning meetings; * Work with support teams to achieve business results; * Become the subject matter expert for your department and equipment; * Follow the Essity Beliefs and Behaviors in all aspects of work life.
